05 novembre It Takes Two review – Wednesday November 4 2009The key item in Wednesday’s show was head judge Len’s mid-term report. Here is how he ranked his pupils:
Laila Rouass and Anton du Beke were first on. Anton said he felt their Viennese waltz was worth a nine (most fo the judges had awarded it an eight). Laila was frustrated by Bruno’s comment which focused almost entirely on her Latin performances not her Viennese waltz. They’re doing the paso doble this week. The music they are dancing to is Layla by Derek and The Dominos, not a pizza delivery company but a popular beat combo formed in 1970 with Eric Clapton as guitarist and singer. Strictly dress designer Nicola Atkinson and The Daily Telegraph’s fashion director Hilary Alexander previewed of some of Saturday’s dresses. The sketches of the outfits looked good. Blogger’s wife was particularly pleased by Natalie Cassidy’s dress which has long sleeves and could at last be the flattering outfit Natalie deserves. One possible shocker is Jade Johnson’s lurid green jive dress. I wonder what Ian Waite will wear to accompany it? Craig Kelly and Flavia Cacace turned up to say not very much. Craig thinks the pressure is off him now he has got to the round held at Blackpool. They’re doing the cha cha cha this week. Oh, one more thing: Winkleman’s shoes: think bird’s nest. PS I thought she did well hosting Never Mind The Buzzcocks last night. Share It
