I and many others (those that are not motivated by posting a blog to have a dig!) would not watch the show without him.

He knows the jokes are bad thats the point. He knows we know that he's reading from an autocue, its all part of his charm. He's worth watching for the faces he pulls alone, the show would never have been as succesful without him thats for sure.

The guy is in his eighties and off with flu, misses one show and has to listen to people saying "dont come back"

    Real shame.

Not a fan of Brucie at all, but hope he gets better soon. Soooo glad they kept it in the Strictly family. Really excited about Tess and Claudia tonight - could be frocks at dawn!! Can't wait for Claudia's bonkers one liners. May have the treat of watching it in real time now that there's no Brucie to fast foward ... YIPPEE!!

Am I alone in thinking that he is well past his sell by date? He has always been full of his own importance and can't read an autocue for the life of him. He even put down Norman Wisdom all those years ago when they did a Sunday Night at the London Palladium on their own because of a strike.
